General terms and conditions relating to use of HPAI Email facilities and mailing lists
The HPAI Email facilities and mailing lists may only be used for supporting your work as a pharmacist or for training, educational or research purposes associated with your work. Use for personal or commercial reasons (excluding recruitment) is prohibited.
The HPAI Email facilities and mailing lists will be used by registered HPAI members only.
The HPAI Email facilities and mailing lists may not be used:
- For any activity that would infringe intellectual property rights. (e.g. software piracy)
- For any activity that would compromise the privacy of others. Identifying information is prohibited i.e. information that identifies an individual/patient or for which it is reasonably foreseeable in the circumstances that it could be used either alone or with other information to identify an individual/patient.
- For any activity that would compromise the security of the HPAI IT facilities (e.g. by carelessly causing computer virus infection)
- For any activity that is illegal.
- To create, host or transmit offensive or obscene material which would cause offence to others on ground of race, creed or sex or would bring the HPAI into disrepute.
- To create, host or transmit material which is designed to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to others.
- To create, host or transmit material which is defamatory.
The HPAI Executive reserves the right to take such action as it deems appropriate against staff who knowingly violate the conditions of using the Email facilities and mailing lists.
