Career paths in Pharmacy after 15 years - Hospital pharmacists satisfaction with career

Recent research from UCC has looked at the career progression of Pharmacists graduating from the University over the last 15 years.

There are many notable findings

One statistic does pose a question

Pharmacists that have gone on to have a career in Hospital Pharmacy have a 88.1% response that they agree or strongly agree that they are "satisfied with my career path".

This compares to 97.2% in Industry and 100% in Academia

If Hospital Pharmacy is to recruit and retain the workforce it needs to provide safe and efficient care, what steps need to be taken to close the gap between the lived experience in other sectors?
